Charleston Southern’s bid to upset No. 3 Florida State appears over before it began.

According to multiple reports and Buccaneers football players’ social media accounts, Charleston Southern will be without upwards of 30 players for Saturday’s game in Tallahassee, Fla., due to suspensions handed down by the NCAA. The short-handed team still is suiting up against the powerhouse Seminoles.

The NCAA’s suspensions are due to players using extra money originally given to them to pay for books for other bookstore products.

Athletic department screws up and the players are punished. Par for the course at the NCAA.

I assume they are getting a big paycheck for this game, so they don't really have a choice. It's not that bad a scenario for them, really. They weren't going to win anyway, and they can get a running clock and go home in a couple hours.
 
Charleston Southern is another team that got better after they got rid of Pat Nix.
 
That sounds like something our AD would do.
