Me too. Runs a 4.4 and gets yards after contact. Maybe it’s the arm that scares people off - looks like he’s lofting the ball in there and not really throwing bullets.

We’re in a unique position because we could give him a shot at QB, and if it doesn’t work out, shift him to AB.

I can’t even find him on the recruiting sites. Top hits are baseball recruiting.

I was at the Monroe-Morgan County game and CPJ was there and he talked with Byron and his family after the game. I don't know why we haven't offered him yet, maybe we're waiting until after his season finishes. They play tomorrow against Pierce County in the Elite 8.

Was there someone else of interest in that game? Seems like a big commitment to send the head coach then not make an offer.

Well, if he isn't on the recruiting sites maybe CPJ made a silent offer to keep it off the recruiting sites.

I was there as well. I did not know cpj was there.

Could be he posted something on social media years ago that makes him untouchable now. Or maybe someone wrote "FFFFFFFForth of July!!" in his yearbook.

I originally thought it could be academics. But we all know that uGA enrolls and graduates illiterate students, so that wouldn't stop them from making an offer.
