A starter at A-back and a back-up at B-back... a good blocker and hard-nosed runner... had 26 carries for 200 yards -- an average of 7.7 yards per attempt -- and had three rushing touchdowns... all three of his touchdowns came in the final four games of the regular season... had three receptions for 57 yards... had six plays of 20 yards or more... had a two-yard touchdown run at 13th-ranked Georgia (Nov. 29)... rushed eight times for a career-high 78 yards and a touchdown, and had one reception for 22 yards -- a total of 100 all-purpose yards -- vs. No. 23 Miami (Nov. 20)... rushed for his first career touchdown and had three rushing attempts vs. Florida State (Nov. 1)... rushed five times for 63 yards, including a key 36-yard run, at Virginia Tech (Sept. 13)... was also on the receiving end of a pass from Josh Nesbitt for a game-tying two-point conversion against the Hokies... showed versatility in the season opener vs. Jacksonville State (Aug. 28)... had a 22-yard run and a 29-yard pass reception against the Gamecocks... played at the B-back position in the spring... helped gain the starting nod with his blocking ability... sat out the 2007 season after transferring from Connecticut... the brother of former starting Tech fullback and current Kansas City Chiefs fullback, Mike Cox.
