4 GT football game times have been announced

Noon and Raycom for the BC game? ugh.

Is there any bars downtown that will carry this?

It looks to me that if you are a Bellsouth hi-speed customer you get ESPN360 at no charge now that it was taken over by AT&T. AT&T is listed as a carrier of ESPN360.

Raycom for the BC game is a bummer, but it's in their house and their superstar is gone. For an ACC opener, there's no real appeal for anyone to make that game widely available.

That's cool. Win 2 quiet, under the radar, games and then shock VT. Come home 3-0 and punish MSU under the ATL sun.

Talked to Rad on monday, he is pushing MSU to be a night game

It will also be our official white out game, details to follow.

Ruh row shaggy. Getting engineers to color coordinate wardrobes is a lost cause.

Ugh. This mess has to stop.

I feel like having a white-out game is just playing copy-cat to others, including those b*stards to the NE. Also, is our fanbase totally together now, and connected to all the right channels that we'll be able to coordinate this? I'm guessing there will be some white-shirts sold or handed-out at the game to help support the idea.

I guess we'll see what happens.

Its really simple...we have two main colors gold and white. B/c 80% of you ninnies can't seem to wear gold in the stadium or don't want to, and b/c it is such a tough color to "match" doing a white out is an easier choice. Think of it this way, to a sorority girl who doesn't want to wear the white t-shirt, wearing a white dress is easier than yellow. For the casual fan, finding a white collared shirt is easier than a yellow or gold in your closet. For the frat bro who likes to dress up for the game a white shirt is easiest. Essentially that is a much easier color for any fan to pull out of the closet...even fans who aren't die hards.

They will be handing out white shakers and I believe white t-shirts as well.

Also, the football team may wear a combination never worn, white helmet, white shirts and pants with gold banding. It will be unique. Some may no like it some may.

FYI, I was in black out games back in the early 2000s at univ South Car. This concept has been around for ever. EVERYONE is a copy cat so quit the complaining and participate and having a neat atmosphere. Bobby Dodd in a NIGHT game vs an SEC opponent with everyone in White will be one hell of an image. Join in.

I do too....but it seems there are more fans against navy than white...you can't please everyone :deadhorse:

Now, this shade of white, are we talking snow white or more of an eggshell. Because if it's snow white, I am just going to wear gold.

:hsugh:

The only truly nice piece of Tech garb I have, other than crap T shirts, is a black GT Hockey sweater.

I bought it expressly because it wasn't one of our 'colors,' and yet one of our teams has it as their alt jersey.

I've been thinking, actually, of having a big "67" sewn on the back.

Raycom should be on one of the secondary local stations at least in Atlanta.

Neither team will likely be ranked at that time, so the decision is understandable.

I don't know if I like the idea of a White out or not, but please.. I don't want to hear anyone suggest that it's a copy of any sort of what Georgia did. They weren't the first team to do it. Not even in their own conference. Or their own division.

That's why it pisses me off to hear people worry that we're trying to imitate them with Blue jerseys. Jesus Christ, we've got a new jersey on it's way - find SOME WAY to spin it so we don't look unoriginal.

You know we ripped the first part of our name from UGAg, too - right?
