GHSA 4A Defensive Player of the Year... first team all-state GHSA and AJC... ranked #46 for his position by Scout and #49 by ESPN... finished with 170 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three interceptions (two returned for TDs), four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries (one returned for TD) in 2008... rushed for 13 touchdowns... had a school-record 546 career tackles... led Westside to a regional championship in 2008... played for coach Robert Davis, earning four varsity letters and serving two years as team captain.
