AT TECH: Georgia Tech's primary punt returner in 2007... a very dependable punt returner with sure hands and solid speed... missed most of spring practice with a shoulder injury... listed as doubtful to play this fall... joined the squad as a walk-on in 2006... was rewarded with a scholarship in January, 2008.

2006: Took over punt return duties at midseason, then missed the final four games due to injury . . . Averaged 9.6 yards on 16 punt returns . . . Had four returns for 36 yards against North Carolina . . . Longest return was a 15-yarder against Maryland . . . Saw his only action in the backfield against Samford, when he carried 11 times for 44 yards and also had one reception.

HIGH SCHOOL: First-team all-county selection by the Marietta Daily Journal, which also named him to its Dynamite Dozen . . . Five-time honoree as Cobb County Touchdown Club Player of the Week . . . Four-year letterwinner for coach Bruce Cobleigh at Harrison High . . . Compiled over 2,000 allppurpose yards his junior and senior seasons . . . Scored 17 touchdowns as a senior and 13 as a junior.

I know T. Evans returned punts because he was the only one who could catch the past 2 years. Remember the James Johnson and Andrew Smith experiments.

Not T. Evans. he injured his sholder in spring, and he's going to miss all of 2008.
