That decision by CPJ looks like the smartest thing ever now, man I love that coach!

Now fix the defense please!
 
The lack of timeouts called in the last 2 minutes of the half doesn't look so smart though.
 
Yep we should have called time outs at 2 points in the game:

1. After the fumble that we recovered in the beginning of the game.
2. At the end of the game because it gives us time to score regardless if we would have stopped Florida or not. He was probably too busy thinking about how crappy our defense instead of managing the game.

Don't get me wrong. I love the guy and wouldn't want anyone else as a head coach.

Who are you proposing we move from offense to defense? Are guys like Morgan Burnett not good enough? We have a comparable level of talent to what we have most years on defense (other than the D-line) but are going shredded each week when we're playing any team that has an offense that knows what their purpose is when they're on the field, i.e. any offense but UNC's.

Ignore him. He can't tell the difference between poorly coached talent and lack of talent. Unfortunately, he's probably a Tech grad and thus could never admit he isn't as educated on something as he thinks he is.
 
Should have declined the hold on FSU giving them the TD, and then told Wommack to put down the headset and find his own way back to Atlanta.

We sound like the uGag fans right now. Pointing fingers and placing blame on everyone but the players on the field. We can't defend the pass at all. We can't stop the run when we need to. The players need to look at themselves and decide that they want to play football.

Because it isnt the players fault, would FSU score no matter who was coaching our defense, sure. But this is utterly ridiculous. Wommack will not see that much better talent than he has this year and had last year and can do absolutely nothing with it.
