How do you pronounce his name? Not the B.J. partLinebacker B.J. Machen, from Hilliard, Ohio, has just become the 6th player to commit to Georgia Tech for the 2008 class.
He will probably need a red-shirt to hit the weights
he may redshirt....but not to hit the weights. He is built like a rock and already sports a 300+ bench and 500+ squat.
I mean more to build out his frame than from a strength perspective. I ultimately see him playing the middle, but he does lack the ideal size for the position. Nevertheless, he is a wonderful get and I am ecstatic to have him.
Or Keith Adams at Clemson (who wanted to go to GT but we didn't offer, by the way).Just remember that John Abbate lacked "ideal size" also. Didn't seem to bother him any!

He's a wlb.
No offense Mustang, but this is what I find so hilarious about message boards. Now I don't know you or what your experience with football is. But on one hand we know he plays OLB. We know that he's ranked as the #17 OLB in the country by at least one of the services. We also know, or at least I think we know that our coaches have recruited him as an OLB. But you want him to play inside?
Again, no offense, and I know this is what message boards are for, and that it's all in fun. But I just don't get it sometimes.
Hey MGT!! I've missed your recruiting threads man! You are well on top of GT recruiting! Keep up the good work!!:biggthumpup:Just an opinion...nothing more...nothing less ;)
