7 points scored in the last 90 minutes of the season

Why not look at the whole season instead of picking out the worst 90 minutes
 
I swear sometimes I think everyone on this board is a new Tech fan.

One year ago we beat these guys for the second consecutive time on their field, but suddenly now we don’t have the athletes to compete? That’s the observation?

We need Special Teams improvement.
We need to find a QB to run the offense.
We need a new defensive perspective.

We just came off a 9- win season last year. The sky isn’t falling.
 
0 in 30 vs shitty Duke + 7 in 60 vs mutts = The Offense isn't blameless in this crappy season.

D needs wholesale changes, starting at the top. But the attitude of some that our O is Almighty needs a dose of reality, in case the last hour and a half of our season isn't proof enough. The O is supposed to be our Great Talent Equalizer.

It's not.
 
Paul Johnson isn't getting fired after this season. So what are posts like this trying to accomplish, anyway? Saving Roof's ass? Building up a Fire-CPJ consensus for after next year?
 
Kirby thanked CPJ for giving his team a nice tune-up game heading into the SEC championship. Somebody look on the field and try to find the teams nuts.

This thread points out facts. Facts that you and others willfully avoid.

Fact is, our D stinks and needs major change. So does the offense.

7 pts in 90 minutes of football SUCKS, I don't care how much the D also sucks.

The offense has been among the top in the country in scoring efficiency for most of the season...

We scored more often against VT than anyone they've played...

The offense needs work, sure. But we also lost our three best offensive skill players in the offseason (JT, DM, MM).

Yeah add them too. Not only do they ööööing suck, it's also just a ton of stupid AF decisions. Where is the ST coaching? Who is coaching these kids to field kickoffs that are headed OB? Basic ST101 classroom crap.

Stop making excuses. Everyone deals with losses due to graduation.
 
Saying that the offense is as bad as the defense is just not born out by the stats unless you cherrypick games.

If you want to say the offense needs improvement, fine, but the defense is the biggest problem.

Yeah and they usually deal with them by regressing for a season! Look at how many offenses are down this year in our conference.

But the D could have held the mutts to 10 pts today and we would've lost.

your post about the UT game being a bellwether for the year was spot-on. Though I don't think the offense played that well again at any point in the year.

Especially when your expressed philosophy it to outscore the opponent and limit his offensive plays.
