9-26 and 141-10

This is rock bottom. öööö you Geoff Collins.

I agree with you that we started at the bottom but none the less figured out a way to get worse. I don't just blame Collins, because it isn't his fault he got hired by Tech or kept by Tech after last year. I blame the man who hired Collins and doesn't see or won't admit he made a mistake. I blame the President of Tech most of all, because he could change everything tomorrow morning and show disheartened fans that Tech cares about winning in sports at the highest level. But, as long as Tech sends out the clear message that it does not care about winning, fans will send out the message that they don't care about supporting Tech sports. It's that simple. The burden is on Tech to show it cares about winning.

That ship sailed years ago.

Most of Dodd's former players have died off. The coaches players that followed him don't really have any influence. Many of the students and alumni were picked last on the school playground growing up.

I'll be shocked if 25,000 shows up Saturday night. Would be less shocked if we lose to Western Carolina.

GO JACKETS!!

Lol… which president of Georgia Tech or administrators on The Hill ever cared about having a good football team?

This has nothing to do with Dodd and his former players. We are Georgia Tech, not the disciples of Bobby Dodd.

"Many of the students and alumni were picked last on the school playground growing up."

Prove it.

I sure as öööö wasn't picked last, ever. In fact, I was usually never picked at all. Because I usually DID the picking. And if you ever played intramural sports at Tech, you saw a lot of guys who you knew were damn athletic.

This engineers-are-unathletic-nerds stereotype is a bunch of bull öööö.

The last one I'm aware of is the man who was President of Tech in the early 1960s when Dodd was the coach. Football was very influential at Tech then. Unfortunately, it used its influence to have Tech leave the SEC. It seems we are doomed either way. I'm beginning to get real mad at my Daddy for taking me to my first Tech game in 1958.
