The true freshman saw action in 11 of 13 games... after sitting out September games vs. Boston College and Virginia he saw action in each of the last nine games of the season, playing at least one series in each half... ranked third on the team in rushing with 339 net yards... averaged a team-best 6.4 yards per carry... completed 5-of-13 passes for 93 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions... surprised some when he came off the bench for a few snaps in the season opener at Notre Dame (Sept. 1)... throttled Samford (Sept. 8) with 39 yards rushing on just five carries and he completed his only pass attempt for 15 yards... rushed four times for 25 yards and was credited with a pass reception for three yards in Tech's win at Miami (Oct. 13)... rushed 13 times for 78 yards and completed his lone pass attempt vs. Army (Oct. 20)... produced 100 yards of total offense vs. North Carolina (Nov. 17) when he rushed four times for 53 yards and connected on a 47-yard touchdown pass to Greg Smith... carried six times for 37 yards and completed one pass for 11 yards in the bowl game.
