O Leary used to recruit OL, real OL. Then he made them tough ( or ran them off). Virtually every OL got their butt whipped today.
And we have now played TWO of Collins OL recruits and they are not very good. We are going to lose 100-0 to UGA three years straight.

2).You can not start a game with two interceptionsagainst a team you are overmatched with. But we talked about it here. You had to go outside often today. But at critical plays we go inside with slow motion counters and zone runs. We do not have that line!
How about a OL sprint outside? They were getting killed, help them.

3). Friedgen used to run plays that worked over and over and over…. We go away from plays that were working all the time , “to keep them honest”. As a coach you have to know the difference between who exactly is keeping who honest. They dominated and were keeping us honest not the other way around.

4) Go watch PJ teams on short yardage runs. QB behind center IMO.

5). Tech traditionally loses to stout old school first football teams. We beat Clemson when they were cutesy. Webeat UNC when they were cutesy.
Without really stout lines, we are going to continue to get killed by UGA, VPI, PITT, BC, and UVA and ND.

5)The 3-3-5 is good against cute teams , not stout teams. We need to find four DL that can play.

6). certain highly ranked safeties need to find some bench time. or the def coach told them to play for the 20 yard pass and he was blatantly wrong.

Lastly, when overmatched it is important to have a ball control offense, not boat race to get the other guy back on the field.
Collins does not understand pacing, running down clocks, etc. this is important unless you have grown to be Alabama.

This is my biggest issue with the staff.
