1. I do not think we rushed only 3 players at any point during the game. Even the last 2 plays with 15 seconds left we rushed five. I like that alot.
2. I think the fade route should be used more with a taller heavier receivers (maybe even a TE). One fade to Glover was a well thrown ball but he was basically pushed while in the air until he landed out of bounds. Since ther was no penalty called there was no chance of sucess.
3. I do not see our corners being picked on as much as in the past. NC really worked the middle of the field more than the corners. Maybe Durrant is more comfortable with that throw but I think a combination of talent, maturity and coaching has really helped our corner play this year.
4. I am in favor of Suggs receiving most of the snaps in a game, but as long as Bilbo is physically/mentally prepared (himself and O'brien share this responsibility) he should see the field in every game from this point out. We must give him a chance to suceed but be willing to take some failure.
5. I thought our coaching staff did a great job preparing the players to play, having them motivated, and staying intense even after the first interception which I'm sure was a big let down at the beginning of the game. Last year we seemed more mentally fragile and a play like that (after last years Clemson loss) could of been an excuse to lose. As Coach Gaily said, we must have good senior leadership. I thought we outgame planned the other side and out motivated the other side. Bunting has all the great lines in the paper and camera shots on the sidelines about how intense he is but that doesn't get it done.
Comments welcome
