I have not seen them play at all this year. How do we matchup with them and were do we have advantages/disadvantages? I know that they usually recruit well so they will have athletes as usual. I would speculate that they have significant advantages at QB. I imagine that we have a better punter. RB is a draw (Choice = Moreno, FB's equal). I imagine that they have better DB's than Tech. Their OL is really young but do we really have a competitive edge? WR?LB?TE?DL?

Again I have not seem them this year. would like some objective insight from those who have. At what positions/team units do we have the advantage? would you argue that we will have home field advantage or will BDS be a more of a neutral site this week?

We only have a better punt team. You will be surprised at how much red you'll see in the stands - both in attire and on the backs of necks. It will be as much a neutral field as ugag sees in Jacksonville. I'll by everyone a chili dog at the Varsity if we lose by less than 3 touchdowns.

If they are fired up ugag could beat anybody! Did you not see their game against auburn last week?

I am not buying into the UGA hype machine. They are a very good team, but they aren't any better than a number of other teams that we have already played.

The biggest advantage that UGA will have over us on Saturday will be standing on the sidelines in the HCing department especially on the offensive side of the ball.

We win this game by holding them under 20, establishing the run, and connecting on a few big pass plays for TDs.

This will a classic game won and lost at the line of scrimmage. We have a chance

The real issue will be getting to Stafford, IMHO. I don't think we'll have TOO much difficulty keeping Moreno in check. But, if Stafford gets the time in the pocket that we gave Matt Ryan, it could be a long day.

On offense, I think we need to pound the crap out of the ball. There are a lot of different ways to run the ball, and I think we need to explore those. Mix in some screens and play-action passes to keep them out of the box, and I think we can be fairly successful. Finally, we need to limit turnovers, dropped passes, and costly penalties.

Most importantly, I think we need to come out with attitude. We need to play ANGRY! I know Gailey isn't much of a motivator, so let's limit the number of red shirts in the fans and do our part.

I think the only way we have any chance in hell is to pound the ball and keep UGA's offense off the field. They'll be able to get a 7 yard completion with a very high success rate whenever they want. If we can run the ball and have 8-10 minute drives, keeping Stafford off the field, and get lucky on a couple bad Stafford throws, then we might have a chance.

But we struggled against Duke and UNC. The only decent teams we have played all year were VT, BC, and Clemson, and we know how those games went. We did beat Clemson, thanks to them playing like crap and basically handing us the game...which is what we would need Georgia to do. Unfortunately Richt tends to have his players motivated and ready to play us. It could get ugly.
