some of you will remember earlier I told you my son wanted to walk on at Tech but couldn't get in, and went to UGA instead. He pledged a fraternity and we have been up there tailgating 3 times this year and I even attended a dawgie game. But he's still a huge Tech fan and when I called him tonight he was in downtown Athens in a bar and when Tech won he sang the rambling wreck song in the bar and bought a round of drinks!! Dear God get him back to the dorm safely!!! And thank God that he doesn't have a credit card!!!

That's a great story and I can identify a bit. I am a UGA grad (but a life-long GT fan) and put my life on the line by wearing my TECH gear in the student section in both '86 and '88 for the GT/UGA games (and remember '86 was after two-in-a-row over the dawgs)
