A tribute to a guy who supports Georgia Tech so very much it just warms my heart to see it. A true fan. One of the best. Obviously I could only use the stuff that hasn't been deleted. Enjoy...

Beebad on the GT fan base:
The Tech fan base is like a little girl holding a flower. After a win she gently pulls off a flower and says, "she loves me". After a loss she angrily rips off a petal and says, "she loves me not." Then after another win, "she loves me" and on and on and on ....
After wins everything is hunky dory, Chan has turned everything around, enjoy the win, blah blah blah and BeeBad you're such a nasty guy. Then after losses you are all in here screaming bloody murder. Chan sucks, everything sucks, bitch bitch bitch. BeeBad thank you so much for having this open forum where I can scream my guts out to deal with the loss.
Then after the next win there's the flipflop back. Then you all go into the offseason and reinvent yourselves again. There's half a dozen people who have courage of their convictions in this entire online fan base. The rest of you are like pancakes being flipped on a griddle. Complete emotional instability.
It is like dealing with a bunch of little children.
Beebad on Tashard Choice:
This kid should just shut his mouth and play football.
More on Tashard:
I only go back 26 years in watching Tech football but I can't think of any better leader than Tashard Choice. Obviously he's a great verbal leader, we've seen that many times on the field and on the youtube clips.”
DoubleB on starting WR in Paul Johnson's offense Tyler Melton:
Gailey's boys just stole one away from Air Force, Iowa State, Louisiana Tech and Rice. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=140&p=8&c=1&nid=2486540
Go Get 'Em Chan !
Yes, the days of competing with Vandy and Duke for recruits are now "the good ole days". Couldn't wait any longer for this one for fear Louisiana Tech or Rice would outmaneuver us.
BBuzzoff on Sports Medicine:
Let's face it, this offense is dead on arrival if Ball can't run. Should the team doctors shoot up that hip/knee/ankle so Ball can run the regular offense including his QB draws and rollouts Saturday? Sure there's risk of additional injury but this is a huge game.
If you are the coach do you have the doc get the needle out Saturday or do you risk flushing the ACC Championship down the drain?”
Beebad on bbuzzoff membership after the Wake loss in the ACC champ game:
Over 100 New Members Have Signed Up For BuzzOFF In the Past Few Weeks!!!
Beebad on GT students at the game:
When I go to games I sit in the big buck seats, not next to the kids. So I have no idea what those slide rules are yelling. Hell, half of 'em speak english as a second language anyways.”
Beebad on the operations of the GTAA:
Dan has done 3 "Good Words" per month since August. The latest that one was posted was the 13th of the month. Today is December 15th. Where is Dan's "Good Word" explaining what happened in the ACC CG ?
Maybe Chan is giving Dan pointers on how to hide after losses.
When the going gets tough noone is ever accountable down at that damn place. They were doing interviews and yukking it up when times were good but after a couple losses now they are all hiding again.
Beebad on Reggie Ball:
Now as we all know, Reggie is a student athlete and Chan is a multi-millionaire 50+ year old coach. But apparently in the Tech community multi-millionaire 50+ year old coaches are sacred cows but you can swing from the heels and tee off on a 22-year old student athlete to your heart's content
More Beebad on Reggie Ball:
A good guess as to why Reggie Ball flunked out: Must've taken his final exams off his back foot.
DoubleB on Gailey:
The Bobby Dodd award stands for leadership, scholarship and integrity. On his best day Gailey only possesses 1 of the 3.
DoubleB again on Gailey:
The last leader that was as stubborn as Gailey was hung last week ...
Saddam Hussein
Beebad on the GT Student body again:
Take particular note of the tremendous latimus dorsi and pectoralis major development

Beebad, shortly before posting pictures of CrackerJackets daughter:
Middle-aged men posting pictures and ogling college girls seems very inappropriate and creepy to me.
If I was the girl's father I'd be having a **** fit. Seriously
Beebad on the Virginia Tech shootings:
The tragedy at Virginia Tech is almost beyond comprehension. But life does go on and there will be ramifications as everyone moves forward.
In today's hypersensitive and politically correct society there's a potential slippery slope for broadcasters and media people covering VA Tech sports this year, particularly football and basketball.
Most broadcasters have words and phrases that they have used for years. They roll off the tongue without thinking. But some of these phrases could get the broadcasters in serious trouble this year if said vs VA Tech.
What happens if Tech beats VA Tech 38-35 next year and Wes says, "Georgia Tech just beat Virginia Tech in a shootout"?
What happens if Wes in speaking about one of GT's QBs or one of the VT QBs as having a "Gun" for an arm?
What if one of the players on the field with big biceps is referred to as "look at the guns on that guy?"
What happens if after a pass Wes says that the QB just threw a "Bullet"?
What if Wes refers to the ballcarrier as looking as if he had been "shot out of a cannon?"
What if Wes says that one of the teams called timeout 'cause they were "trying to stop the bleeding?"
These are just a few of the common phrases that Wes or another broadcaster doing a VA Tech game could accidentally say. Could they be fired if it happens for being insensitive? Should the company running the broadcast have a 10 second delay on the broadcasts and a couple people manning the dump button just in case?
More Beebad on the VT shootings:
Very doubtful any Virginia Tech football players were shot today considering all the shootings took place in classrooms.
DoubleB on supporting GT athletics:
Seasons tickets in most cases and most situations are a bad idea and a bad investment. However, if you usually need 4 or less seats together and you are the average fan on an average budget you will do better by not buying season tickets. For example, take the average fan with an average amount of money to donate. That individual is going to end up with an average seat with an average view. No more, no less. However, if the average fan went down to the stadium with a diagram of the seating chart in his hand 2 hours before the game and walked around talking to people who have extra seats he is in most all cases going to find seats that are better and in many cases far better than he would have had he made a donation and bought them from the Tech ticket office. There's a ton of good seats available at most Georgia Tech football games. Don't forget, a lot of Tech alumni are dispersed throught the country yet buy season tickets and at the last minute are unable to attend
