BC and Syracuse, I wll become one mighty upset alumnus.
Miami, BC and Syracuse have been united from the outset. Boston College and Syracuse have formed a bond and, unlike VT, that bond should not be broken becuase of greed. BC and Syracuse have been extremely loyal and supportive throughout this entire ordeal. Its time for my 'Canes to return the favor. If Miami decides to bail on BC and SU, we will be commiting political suicide and will get hammered by the national media. IMHO, such criticism will be justified.
The ACC decided last night that it wants to remain a "southern" conference. Their decision also shows that the true power within the conference still lies with Carolina and Dook. I don't want to become a cash cow for a conference that has no concern for the long-term health of the University of Miami. If they truly cared about our well-being, they would have invited our partners, BC and Syracuse....
Miami should turn down this invitation!
