Georgia Tech has won it's first road game of the season in each of our past 5 seasons.

Didn't we open up in South Bendover 2-3 years back against ND and rock them to the tune of 33-3?

I read that. I think in the same article it mentioned that Miami has won like 3 straight home openers...one of those two has to end Thursday.

I'm hoping the shorter streak ends.:fingersx:

I rode the train from DC to South Bend for that game.

On the way home, I waited in the train "station" (more like a 200 square foot shack) with one other guy. He was a die hard ND fan. The look of utter disbelief and shellshock on his face was priceless. That was really the first game of what would become the biggest slide in Notre Dame's history.

Dwyer's first college TD came in that game. As did Burnett's first sack.

That reminds me of the little mnemonic that I use to recall events of 2007: Weis got Channed, Chan got canned, and if you posted 'bout it on the Hive, you got banned.
