This season’s direction was established in the opener. The collapse was epic and the confidence of the team damaged. At “winning time”against the U and UVA we just could not make a play and we almost choked at the end with the Hokies. We really spit the bit when things went awry today. My greatest critique of CPJ this year has been his inability as a leader to get this team tougher mentally. He’s got one week and one more chance. Beat UGA and the nightmares of the road losses and late game collapses will be forgiven, if not forgotten. Lose at home to the Dawgs and have 2 of three losing seasons and the shape of the program can surely be questioned.

Agreed. We have a lot of upperclassmen on defense, but it is hard to identify a strong leader.

#14 is our defensive leader and he went out in the first half. Gray is way overranked. Mitchell is too slow. the cbs are okay but really the rest are somewhat invisible.
