Horrible defensive play, incredibly stupid play calling, stupid penalties, and an unfathomable game plan. Why did we even bother to accept a bowl invitation if we weren't going to even try?

At least this confirms the decision to pass on Tenuta as HC was very wise!
 
Not sure you can take anything from this game. It's a meaningless game played 2100 miles from home being coached by a staff that will all be fired immediately thereafter to cap off an extremely disappointing season. The fans know it, the players know it, and the coaches know it.

I must say that I thought this was the wierdest scenario going in that I've ever seen.

I'm interested to hear PJ's thoughts in the 3rd quarter. He did not look happy at all.

There's a limit to how much pride and energy you can build up for a game that doesn't mean anything. Also, don't forget this team was not good to begin with and had trouble beating Duke(regardless of what the final score was) and UNC, and lost to several bad teams.
 
Anyone realize that a loss here would make the program 7-9 in its last 16 games?

He may be thinking that he inherited a rebuilding job that he hadn't planned on.

Very disappointing effort. Seniors who look like they don't care and aren't leading. Underclassmen who should want to show the new coach what they are made of but aren't. Not surprising giving the circumstances, but disappointing.
 
I think he now feels confident in passing on Tenuta as a part of his new staff. When the heat doesn't get to the QB, that puts the CB's on islands and we constantly get picked apart.
 
I just hope that was the last time I ever have to see TB throw a pass in a Tech uniform.

Amen! Maybe it was shades of that disgusting pick-six that AJ Suggs threw against Fresno to end the first half of the '02 Mud Bowl. He never saw more than mop-up action after that throw.

no they don't. They were coddled for 4 years by the previous coach. There isn't much toughness on this team.

At the very least, PJ will instill accountability, effort, pride and toughness.

Fresno has been tossing our guys around like they are rag dolls. Are they that much bigger, faster and better than we are?
 
I cannot believe that we can compete with the UGA bulldogs well into the 4th quarter and we can't stop the Fresno State bulldogs.

If only the future players truly knew the storm thats headed their way !!
 
this game could get interesting if we would play some defense.

By the way, why wasn't Booker playing more? He seems to have a better arm than Bennet.
