AARGH! Stubhub ticket prices went down

I bought some tickets last week in the Lower corner for $110 a piece. I figured I'd better get the tix in advance... ya know, being early pays off right??

Today there's tickets in better lower sections for $97.

Add to the fact that they've updated the map with the team sides and I found out I'm sitting next to LSU fans. :mad:

This is my first time buying tickets to a major sporting event, is this how it always goes?
 
the price will likely continue to drop on all sites...corporate tickets are just now going out.
 
Last night I passed on two tickets in section 316 that sold for $72.50 (for the pair).

I'm looking to go $30-$35 apiece for side-near-endzone seats or $40-$50 for sections 319-323 which are between the 30's.
 
Oh well. I am low section 345.......right smack in the middle of the jumbalaya! Wish me luck.:mad:

Dude. Go all in. Buy the new, cheaper ones and then sell the original tix later to desperate LSU fans! They say never try to time the market. So you should try it definitely... safer than playing the NYSE I imagine...

What desperate LSU fans? They're not nearly as excited to be here as we are.
 
Stub Hub has an option for sellers that allows the price of the ticket to decline to a minimum amount over time or until sold. Since it is somewhat early, some of the declining price tickets are at their highest level, and will get cheaper as the game gets closer. If you can be patient (or have tickets in hand and are only looking for better seats) you might find a good deal in a couple of weeks.
 
How do you find out where you are sitting? I got tickets a little late, and all my confirmation says is that I am sitting in the upper level end zone, but doesn't have section, row, seat # or anything.
 
I would love to get new tickets but there's no guarantee I'll sell the ones I got. Sorry but I cant take that risk.
