Maybe its just me, but I love to hear great stories like this. With the workload on a college athlete, I have a lot of respect for any player that can accomplish a 3.0 overall GPA at GT. For that matter, I have a lot of respect for ANYONE who managed a 3.0 overall, I didn't quite make it.
