ACC and AAC Merge to Form Superconference

I’m not really sure what the pros are. For that matter, I’m not really sure of the cons either. I do know this: ever since we let Notre Dame half way in our conference, my confidence in our leadership has been at zero.

Swofford is leading us to the promised Land where we have one set of officials for the sport. If he can move the AAC, he can move the world!
 
A step away from the NC mafia is a step in the right direction.

Not as bad as the days of Hess, Paparo and Wirtz though.
 
I hope everybody understands, however, that the new AAC officials will be required to attend a short re-education camp the purpose of which will be to "understand and appreciate the history and tradition of Tobacco Road and those other schools" which will be held at a top secret underground facility at an undisclosed location somewhere in North Carolina.

The families of the officials are also invited but will be "entertained" at a nearby facility and reunited with the officials after the officials successfully complete the coursework and pass a final exam and oath of allegiance to the doctrines therein espoused.
 
If it eventually leads to a deal where we play our out of conference games against the AAC, that could be interesting.

We do not want to play the MNC, UCF, every year. We do not want to have to play right down the street from the Mons, on a regular basis. We do not want to play Navy with all those cut blocks!
