A kid almost 30 years younger than me is talking about "old time GT football".

How do these things happen?!

Ran in to Joe and some other OL at flip flops one night. Bought a round of shots for them, then they proceeded to buy us all a bunch more. Don’t think that night ended well; hard to remember though.

Given what we saw the last four years, and how everything (scheme, success, fan support, marketing, culture, coaching) was polar opposite from the late 00s, I’m going to say that the “old time” depiction plays.

I think I saw Gilbert at the Tech game in Athens, as a fan, where we missed the extra point to tie it up. His face was painted and he looked angry.

Joe does like the paint. I saw him in Orlando with a bucket of beer and his face painted up like Braveheart. Said he was there to watch Wallace play.
