is still yet to be determined, but here's how things look after today's action (assuming WF defeats FSU, they're now up 30-0, wow):

Maryland.............5-1
Wake Forest........5-1
Boston College.....4-2

remaining games:

MD- @ BC ... vs WF

BC- vs MD ... @ Miami ...(BC lost to WF)

WF- vs VT ... @ MD ...(WF defeated BC)

There is still way too much to be determined to predict who will win the Atlantic.

Maryland and Wake Forest are in control of their own destiny, win out and head to Jacksonville.

Boston College needs to run the table and also for WF to lose to VT and MD (unless a three-way tie develops)

A three way tie takes place if:

MD loses to BC and defeats WF
WF defeats VT and loses to MD
BC defeats MD and Miami

MD would have then defeated WF, who has defeated BC, who would have then defeated MD. I have no idea who would then be declared Atlantic champ.
 
I still think we will play BC. That seems crazy but I don't see Wake beating VT and I don't see MD beating BC.
 
Actually Law, in the scenarios I was just playing around with I am in agreement with you.

Had BC defeating MD & UM,
WF losing to VT & MD (although this whipping of FSU may change my opinion)
MD losing to BC & defeating WF

Hence:

BC 6-2 (defeated MD)
MD 6-2
WF 5-3

But, i do have to say that after watching WF tonight, they have a shot at VT, that's for sure.

I think MD would have the tie breaker, as their in division record would be better (Since both BC and WF have one in division loss already).

One thing to point out, if in division losses are the tie breaker. The WF-VT game means nothing to WF. If they beat MD they are in. If they lose to MD, they are out because of tie breakers, even if they finish 6-2 (with the same record as MD).
