Greetings and welcome to the 4th Coastal race poll.
In last week's poll results, we had the following:
UNC - 75% (+47%)
Pitt - 7% (-28%)
Duke - 18% (-9%)
Results from these teams' games:
UNC def Duke 66-31
Pitt lost to ND 42-30
Conference Standings:
1 - UNC 5-0
2 - Pitt 4-1
3 - Miami 3-2
4 - Duke 3-2
This week's schedule:
Sat Nov 14 - Pitt @ Duke
Sat Nov 14 - Miami @ UNC
Another week, another chance to say: As I so boldly predicted, UNC is looking like the best team in the coastal right now. And clearly you are all coming around to my way of thinking. Marquise would be proud. Very proud.
The Heels put a beat down on Duke that was 2nd only to Clempson wiping the floor with the Canes the week before.
As I indicated last week, Miami enters the poll for this week's vote with their 2nd straight coastal division win. They don't control their own destiny, but will need help from VT or NCSt to give the Heels a conference loss. However, they are undefeated so far against Coastal foes, and could sneak up and steal the division title if UNC doesn't take care of business. Miami plays both Pitt and UNC over the final 3 weeks of the season.
