DEFENSIVE LINE

Georgia Tech defensive end Eric Henderson (New Orleans, La.) keyed a superb defensive effort in the Yellow Jackets' 17-3 victory over 17th-ranked Auburn. The redshirt sophomore aided the Tech defense in holding the Tigers to just 230 yards of total offense, including only 40 net rushing yards. The 6-3, 265-pounder had three of Georgia Tech's seven sacks in the game. He also had another tackle for loss and a forced fumble, along with six tackles.

DEFENSIVE BACK

Georgia Tech senior Keyaron Fox (Atlanta, Ga.) collected a game-high 15 tackles with two tackles for loss, including one sack in the Yellow Jacket's 17-3 win over No. 17 Auburn. The 6-3, 220-pound outside linebacker helped the Tech defense hold Auburn to only 230 yards of total offense. Fox was part of Tech's best defensive effort against a ranked team since 1995, both in terms of points allowed and total yards allowed.

ROOKIE

Georgia Tech freshman quarterback Reggie Ball directed the Yellow Jacket's to their 17-3 victory over 17th-ranked Auburn. The 5-11, 192-pound Stone Mountain, Ga., product set the tone with a 54-yard completion on Tech's first offensive play of the game, setting up a field goal and giving the Jackets a lead they would not relinquish. On Tech's second-quarter touchdown drive, he recovered a teammate's fumble, converted a fourth-and-one with a quarterback sneak, then rushed 12 yards down to the one-yard line to set up the score. For the game, Ball completed nine of 21 passes for 149 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also gained 26 yards rushing on nine attempts.
