"ACC Power Rankings"

I don't have a problem with the power rankings. If we had continued the blowout of Southern, instead of wetting ourselves, we would deserve to be thought more highly of.

You know, I was going to bash ESPN for the continuous disdain of GT and unfounded love of UNC and Pitt, but after seeing 0 votes in the coaches poll (in which CPJ votes) and the AP poll, maybe they're on to something.

At least ESPN was nice enough to predict we'll win 3 of the next 9 and make it to the Bitcoin bowl (which doesn't even have a website yet: http://www.stpetersburgbowl.com/ )

UNC is probably my biggest gripe here. They struggled against Liberty at home. And they needed a miracle comeback against SDSU at home. Sounds pretty much identical to us (except we also beat a not-great Tulane team on the road by 3 scores after struggling early). Yet they get the nod at #9 and we move down to #13. If/when we beat VT are they going to move us up to 5/6 at 4-0?

Probably not since VT lost to ECU. Our win, however unlikely, will be written off as VT being lousy.

Required for GT to be taken seriously:

Whichever comes first (if any) of:
6-0
7-1
8-2
9-3
ACC Champion

Anything less and a GT win will be written off as a weak opponent, a bad game by a strong opponent, or luck (and maybe rightfully so).

Bitcoin has no idea how much money they have to spend on a website. Today, maybe a Bitcoin is worth $800 each. Tomorrow, they may be worth $20 each. It is like playing slots or Blackjack.

The sad part is that describes a lot of GT fans too.

We are not good. That's why the media doesn't respect us. Godalmighty.

UNC(heats) has done so well against us in the past 16 years--I think they've beaten us twice. And yet, they've been expected to be better than us almost every year.
