...the bottom half of the polls. Half of the last 12 in the Top 25. Parity lives! (or is it mediocrity?)

Still, half the teams in the conference being rated ain't bad - Especially when scUM and F$U are not among them!

I'm rooting for Wake to win out, so Boise State doesn't play in the BCS. Surely, wins over Va Tech and MD would jump them over Boise.

Before you jump my case, I just meant winning out until they meet us in the ACCCG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We KNEW that is what you meant! :laugher: ;)

I don't think Wake has anything to do with Boise State if they lose to us in the ACCCG.

I do wonder if the pollsters are deliberately leaving Boise at #13. The little conferences will raise hell if that continues.

Boise will probably be moving up in the polls before it's said and done. USC vs Notre Dame, West Virginia vs Rutgers and Florida vs Arkansas are three games featuring five one-loss teams where there could be three two-loss teams.

I'm certainly no Boise advocate. In fact, perhaps @ Nevada will do in Boise and get them out of the BCS picture altogether, that's what I'm hoping for.

I am too. No team from the WAC belongs in the BCS bowls, they would without a doubt be pulvarized.

I honestly believe that speaks well of the ACC. Yes, this is a down year. But you know scUM and F$U will be back strong soon, and with Butch Davis supposedly going to Chapel Hill, Wake looking real good, VT, Clemson, and BC almost always top 25 material, State and Maryland will always be the 5-7 win teams that get a couple suprise wins, and us staying strong, we've got a great conference that just isn't showing itself all around this season. (Then there's UVa, go figure them out, and good ol' Duke. Gotta love Duke football.)
Truth is, there is more to the ACC than the Florida teams. And I think (hope) Swofford and folks are starting to get that.

Fsu and UM taught the rest of college football about team speed. When they owned team speed, everybody else was at a disadvantage. Now that other teams have copy catted very well, and have recruited the state of Florida better, the Florida schools have to learn how to coach again. They may be down for a little bit.

What this league needs is better quarterbacks. The kid at umd...starts with an H...is the best I have seen in the league for a few years. Looks like Ralph finally found someone that can understand him with a pork chop in his mouth. ;)

Actually there could be four two loss teams, because Arkansas is going to get spanked by LSU.

Rutgers is not going to stay undefeated. I think that West Virginia will beat them.
I agree. There is no way Rutgers escapes Morgantown unscathed.

Well, I recall that Utah team that did pretty well a couple years ago. Yeah, they're from the MWC, but still.

The MWC is a step up from the WAC IMO.
