What a great game. What the heck happened to Hewitt? It's like he hit his head and forgot how to coach after that.
Key assistants leaving + Braine giving him the most ridiculous contract ever = No fire.

Its the little moments in life like this where you meant to type “in due” but instead had it autocorrected to “indie” while talking about the NCAAT - that’s coincidentally being held in Indy - that make me think people should learn how to ööööing type.
Holy run on sentence, Batman.

Latest from the Athletic

Locks: Virginia, Florida State, Clemson, North Carolina
Should be in: Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech
Waiting game: Louisville, Syracuse

Georgia Tech (15-8, 11-6; NET: 37, SOS: 46): Count ’em. Seven, as in that’s Georgia Tech’s seventh win in a row. No, Thursday’s ACC tourney victory over Miami wasn’t particularly inspiring. The Hurricanes have been really bad (and really injured) all season, and their NET of 150 makes them a Quadrant 3 opponent even on a neutral court. The Yellow Jackets had to scrape by too, dealing with a Jose Alvarado injury in the first half that could have been especially damaging had it a) been worse or b) led to Georgia Tech losing. But Alvarado returned, and Tech hung on. The upshot? It’s not like Georgia Tech improved its résumé or leapfrogged a bunch of teams by beating Miami; what it did do is avoid a truly bad loss (which would have been its third, alongside Mercer and Georgia State) and simultaneously set itself up to play Virginia on Friday, a game in which a defeat wouldn’t really hurt. Considering its solid position relative to much of the remaining teams on the bubble — Tech is as high as a 10-seed in many brackets — it’s getting more and more difficult to see how this team will miss the NCAA Tournament.

Wow! It seems we have a COVID problem in Greensboro. Given the issues with the Duke team and the recent game they played against the Tarheels, should we consider quarantine of 'Ol Roy and the Heels for about fourteen days? Just trying to follow the science.

Thank goodness Cav Man ducked out today instead of tomorrow or else our season could have been over.

In order to play in the NCAA tournament, a team needs to show seven consecutive negative daily tests before arriving in Indianapolis, and then undergo daily testing while inside the controlled environment in Indianapolis.

Dan Gavitt, NCAA senior vice president of men's basketball, has also said that a team just needs five healthy players to play in their NCAA tournament game. If Virginia doesn't have a widespread COVID outbreak and the rest of the team continues to test negative, the Cavaliers should be eligible to play in the NCAA tournament.

"Further complicating things is the fact that UVA’s entire team jumped on Reece Beekman after his game-winning, buzzer-beating three-pointer against Syracuse on Thursday, meaning all members of the team will likely be deemed close contacts."

Make the ACC Finals, Beat UK, UNC, Duke in the same year, and have a 7 game ACC win streak.

I know we have work left to do to finish strong, but that is a damn good season so far.

Refs were terrible last night. Not one-sided but there were multiple calls that Jay Bilas was saying “that was an impossible call to miss”.

Didn’t see any officiating problems in the other conference tournaments (and I’ve been glued to the tv). It blows my mind how ööööing awful ACC officiating is.
