AD Candidates?

I believe there is one candidate already throwing his hat in the ring. Any thoughts on him or others?

Stansbury just doesn't excite me very much. Why is he so exciting to everyone? He's just an assistant AD at Oregon State.

I like Curry. Recognizable name. Solid man. Obviously many years of experience in CFB. Lots of contacts. Absolutely loves GT. I think he'd do a fine job.
 
I don't question his love for GT, but the game agianst the Mutts this year was the first GT game he had been to since he left for Bama... doesn't seem like it was a very high priority for the last 20 years. Things change of course, feelings change and theres nothing wrong with that, lets just be genuine about it.
 
When I posted the link yesterday I also wondered why Stansbury was left off the list However, rechecking the link this morning, I see he has been added as a seventh possible candidate.

Stansbury has some good qualifications, and he does have interest in the job. Personally, I would like to see the job go to Bill Curry.
