  1. If our run game shows out like that, we need to have a Paul Johnson celebration ceremony before every game the rest of the season.
  2. Dontae Smith is our best RB.
  3. More designed QB runs still need to be called for Haynes King.
  4. Paul Johnson must have given Buster Faulkner some pointers before the game.
  5. GT owns UNC...in football that is
  6. The Board of Regents needs to create a tackling department for all GT defensive players and make Ahmari Harvey the inaugural dean.
  7. We might actually make a cameo appearance come bowl season
  8. I have figured out the solution to our athletic association financial woes: invent football helmet sensors that alert active ball carriers they're about to be used as a tackling dummy, patent the idea, and sell it to UNC.
  9. Whoever is calling defensive plays needs to update their resume
  10. Homecoming is always good when the home team gets a 'W'

It's possible.

CPJ would run the same play over and over until the other team stopped it. We threw the ball to Rutherford multiple times in a row (on more than one occasion).

We also ran Dontae 6 times in a row to start the 4th quarter. I believe that was the turning point in the game.

It's the first time I can remember play calling like that.

we ran the bubble screen numerous time in short order too and they could never stop it. Reminded me of the game in Miami several years back when Miami did that to us

We have speed to kill at WR. We also have WR's that can catch TF out of tough passes. We used to have a problem with the dropsies. Our WR's are solid. Our TE's are solid. We need Seither back next season.

One of the Singleton catches happened right in front of us. The one where he went streaking down the Tech sideline toward south ez and caught it at about the 50. It was impressive. First off, he’s fast as absolute hell. Second, he didn’t bring his hands up until ball arrived and caught it on perfect stride with his hands.

I don't even see how he managed to catch it. Kid is a baller.

I was very impressed with the crowd, despite being a small crowd. We really brought noise

We are good on offense when everyone plays. Need Singleton on the field and Williams on OL. Not as good when they are missing.

Jamal is a good RB but Dontae is better than Cooley. Not sure what happened but glad the coaches/player finally figured it out.

Defense isn’t good but if they play hard and focused they can make a few plays a game and help us to win. I think in some games they gave up after some bad plays.

New DC hasn’t impressed

I'm half convinced CPJ phoned in the blocking schemes for the 4th quarter. Those boys were moving bodies like a well oiled machine.
Fire off the snap. Hot the guy in front of you. Suddenly, we pull the guard and tackle....

We lost on the day we celebrated Bill Curry.
We won on the day we celebrated Paul Johnson.
We win when we celebrate winning GT coaches. We lose when we celebrate losing GT coaches.

So celebrate George O'Leary at BDS when we play Syracuse, and celebrate Bobby Ross at BDS when we play Georgia. It's science.

Dig up John Heisman if those two won't do it.

For our charge the field after the UGAg game, give each student a sledgehammer and point them to the Edge center and tell them to have at it. It is supposed to be torn down after the season. I figure students can have it done in one victory over UGAg night

A big reason that we ran the screens is NOW we actually block on the outside to make it work.Early in yr--we did NOT.

Nothing against Dontae, but we of all people should know that backs can look like all Americans behind a good line (see anyone that had Uzzi or Mason blocking for them). That’s not to say we have a good line, but certainly UNC was anywhere but near the runner last weekend.

Haynes and Cooley were running behind the same line and against the same line.:dunno:
