AJC: "Johnson Better than Gailey"

Just another example of why our coach is so great. IMO we have one of the best coaches in the nation if not the best.

So I just have to ask...which do you guys enjoy most? Bashing the AJC for writing negative articles about us, bashing them for not writing articles about us at all, or bashing them for writing positive articles about us? I mean, it's a tough choice. Each one seems to have its advantages and disadvantages.

Personally, I just enjoy bashing the AJC. Positive or negative with regards to Tech they are a shining example of why print media is going the way of the dodo.

I do however notice Tech fans will bitch one week about Terrence Moore and his racial agenda and then love him the next week, because he wrote something nice about us.

When have I complained about the AJC? Terrance Moore is a waste of breath. Mark Bradley likes to play to the emotions of college football fans. Outside of that, I've never really had a problem with the AJC.

Pay attention grasshopper.
 
Why would Terrance Moore like CPJ? I don't think we are playing any more or any fewer black guys than Gailey did and that's pretty much all that Moore ever thinks about.
 
Regardless of whether their latest article is negative or positive, it's the fact that they're terrible, horrible journalists. That's why I hate them.
 
I enjoy bashing the AJC, but it's like slapping a retard. My problem with that rag isn't that it's core demographic is Dawgs, it's that paper itself is written for and panders to that demographic. Seventh grade English courses routinely produce better writing then that newspaper. I can't stand the other sections of the newspaper anymore then the sports section.

The Moore article is nice little fluff piece about the team, with a positive GT slant. The problem is that if Moore is just now coming to the conclusion that Johnson is a better college coach then Gailey, then one has to wonder what it is that Terrance Moore does all day.

Bashing for negative writing has a nice, rounded, self righteous flavor, but leaves a hollow aftertaste.

Bashing for not writing about us at all has nice legs, a sharp initial bite, and a dry patina.

Bashing for positive writing has a smooth finish with undertones of irony and sarcasm, but can be too sweet depending on the vintage.


In all, I think all three have their place in any well stocked Whine Rack, and I enjoy all three regularly. Try Positive Bashing with the fish.
