AJC tribute to the GT band turning 100

GEETEELEE, was it a big deal when that started that first band?
 
I know for a fact that the AJC is really trying to do a better job of giving Tech some love, but can't disclose how I know. And I have been one of it's worse critics, as I have previously posted.
I have heard that they feel all they get from GT supporters is a bunch of negative crap (me too). Now is the time for us to give them some hugs in return. It will be greatly appreciated and I do think it will be rewarded.

They've earned the grief over a long period of time.

If they truly want to turn over a new leaf then they need to be prepared to accept that they will not get an immediate return from most, who will be suspicious that anything positive is a fleeting exception and hold the grudge.

If they are serious, then they need to keep it up regardless of whether they get immediate recognition. People will eventually come around.

In other words, if you are telling us if they don't get some positive feedback then they will return to their old ways, then that will just confirm the negative feelings and suspicion.

Not what I said at all! They are trying and we should too. If they prove something else, we can go back to dumping on 'em. Your response is typical of what I expected from our asshole fan base.
