"And poor addled Georgia kept being called for penalties, the same penalties they’d overcome in Columbia and in the desert, the penalties that left them no chance against an opponent of comparable skill." Mark Bradley

Comparable skill... are you sh!tting me? Did he watch the same game I watched? I've seen more fight out of a chihuahua being mounted by a pit bull. These bastards are sooo clueless. UT just might lay an ass-whooping on them in a couple of weeks.

So Richt will prolly go to Miami now that Jimbo has supposedly aired out Bobby Bowden's back pocket. Is that what we're looking at? I think so. Bobo will be the next HC at GAG and I for one can't wait.

I don't get it. You don't think ugag and Alabama have similar talent? What does fight have to do with talent?

UGAG has a passer with a strong arm and good receivers. Not a lot more.

That's ridiculous Esso. Just because they lost doesn't mean they don't have talent. They have a young OL which is their weakest group. 'Bama is just that good IMO. But ugag has players.

No, ugag has talent as you said in the second sentence. Lots and lots of talent. Nice to have, but by itself doesn't make a complete team.

I think they have comparable talent, but Nick Saban has a team that will run through a wall for him. Those guys at Alabama play incredibly hard.

I have to disagree - I think they have a player in Moreno. Watching him play shows that he's the kind of player who can energize his team - that's bigger than just talent.

That said, Bama was underappreciated going into this game, and they outplayed UGA. I think with some work and the progress we've already made this season, we could find ourselves in a similar role come November...

Moreno seems to me to be a tremendous athlete with a hotdog attitude. His "swagger" seems more like a cocky strut. There is a picture of him in today's online AJC, however, where he wasn't swaggering or strutting.

The energy for UGA came from Stafford's arm and his receivers Saturday...especially Green. I like that kid. He reminds me of Nesbitt with his attitude.

I see your point, but I've known plenty of athletes whose swagger seemed like a cocky strut to those who didn't see them enough.

I think it's the response of the athletes around him to his attitude that provide clues to which it is - arrogance or strength. I think they key off of his energy enough to suggest it's more of the latter.
