After the 1992-93 season, Ciraldo stopped doing play-by-play but served as host for pre-game, halftime and post-game shows.

All didn't actually coin the phrase, "Thriller Dome":
Ciraldo popularized a term that Brad Nessler coined "Thriller Dome" after all of Tech's close contests in ACC play at Alexander Memorial Coliseum.
Al and Kim were great together. Al would sometimes go into celebrating a Tech first down or touchdown without being conscious of (or probably seeing) that a flag had been thrown on the play. Kim would have to chime in, "We've got a flag Al."
