The earlier they lose their first ACC game, the better. If they beat both Boston College and Florida State, they're probably not going to lose more than one.

I agree, but regardless of what happens with them, we still have to win the rest of our games. And if we are able to win the rest of our games I will be an extremely happy guy regardless of whether VT loses two or not.

i'd have to agree with you there..

it starts with the eagles....in a few hours....

You're absolutely right. But yeah, it'd be very awesome to go to Tampa in PJ's first year. I'd assume that we could get an at-large bid to the BCS if we went 11-1, but I wouldn't mind the ACC hardware. :)

Amen. I just think it is so fun that we are able to talk about the ACC championship in CPJ's first year. And I have this sense of pride about this group of guys that I haven't felt for years.

Yes, and now -- at UNC looks to be THE game this year. They have weak-ass UVA then BC then a bye week to prepare for us on the 8th.

I think we need to worry less about VT dropping another one or two and more about us NOT dropping another one or two.

I think we have some issues at the line of scrimmage when we have possession of the football.

This implies the only thing that matters, beating those God forsaken mutts.

We just need to take it one game at a time and not overlook anyone. We have talent, but not enough to take a day off and still expect to win. UVA can play and always gives us fits, but we should beat them. After them we play a FSU team that has all-world athletes and we haven't beaten them since the birth of Christ. UNC has proven to be a well coached team and will be a major challenge for us, but if we don't win the 2 before it then it wont matter nearly as much to the program to beat the Heels. We can worry about games beyond that once we get there, but every single game is key for us from here on out. We can win them all, but we can't take anything for granted or we will feel the sting of a swift kick in the nuts that we seem to feel at least once yearly.

One game matters - Homecoming against UVA. Don't need to worry about standings. Need to win week by week. I say let's go 11-1, and if Va Tech goes to championship, God bless 'em. I'll take Gator Bowl or BCS at-large spot gladly. Five to play - none are easy, none are unwinnable, Dawgs included.
