Gibbs’ frustration and get a feeling he’s going into The Portal
Right now with his Talent. He could be a Heisman winner in two yrs. but it won’t be at tech

if Joe finished 2nd on winning teams. This kid is handcuffed at Tech

I hope Tashard can sell as well as Collins
 
I honestly think Gibbs playing so well with no supporting cast and as the main component of our team makes him look that much better to NFL scouts. Reminds me of Calvin Johnson here - Everyone knew he was a talent, but we all said how much greater he would have been if we had a QB that could actually hit him in stride.

I don't think Gibbs is going anywhere, he is getting national recognition on a 3 and 8 team as the only bright spot.

National recognition on a relevant team is one thing. Gibbs is getting the “hey look what that dude’s doing on that ööööty team” recognition. It’s worth something, but it’s worth more to have other good teams trying to stop you when it really matters.
 
Gibbs deserved better. He was likely sold better just like we all were. Thankfully he is not letting that get in the way of giving it his all every time he touches the ball. I hope he gets a degree from GT at some point after/during his NFL career.
 
It is not out of realm of possibility for that to happen but guys that transfer seem to do because they feel they are not getting playing time.
Gibbs is getting a lot of reps.

I have noticed that in previous games, especially when we score and there is barely any celebration from a program that is now all about juice and exuberance.

Hopefully we're just paranoid because Gibbs is really special and I want to watch him for another year.
 
I do know GOL would be putting a few of our OL in at QB to let them know how it feels to be a QB with an OL putting in unacceptable effort. There would be a lot of mommy's calling about their little boy getting hit in practice.

Oh really? I live up this way, work in Calhoun and Dalton, know a bunch of Dalton folks and haven't heard a damn thing. Where are your 3rd party people who Gibbs is confiding to? If you are gonna bring this out and claim to know folks in the know you either need to produce some evidence of being in the know or STFU.

why in the world would he transfer some place and share carries? he's the star of the show here and gets all the exposure he needs to go pro. there is literally no reason to transfer. he's going to be in the draft next year regardless.

No, that’s you. Starting threads like this is actively harmful. It gets stingtalk all riled up and it could even potentially get back to Gibbs that people want him to transfer if there is too much talk about it.

I think Gibbs is the one bright spot in the Collins era. In fact I think it’s possible for him to be a Heisman contender next year if our crazy expensive offensive line coach can finally pull something together. It would probably take a couple more wins from the team overall, but I have hope.
 
Looking at it from another angle, can you imagine how much worse we'd be if we didn't have this tremendously talented kid playing for us??
Hard to believe, but it brings further perspective to the crap that Collins is delivering.
