Senior All-American candidate earns honor for second time in 2008

Andrew Gardner, who helped lead Georgia Tech to 438 rushing yards and 500 total yards last Saturday in a 38-7 win over Mississippi State, was named the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week on Monday.

Gardner, an All-American candidate, wins the honor for the second time this season.

Gardner was instrumental in Georgia Tech's 438 rushing yards -- the fifth-highest single-game total in school history and the most since 1978. The Tyrone, Ga., native played every significant snap in the win over the Bulldogs.
