There are a number of cliche terms I hear used by coaches, writers and broadcast commentators that are overused, annoying and need to stop. Here's a list of a few that irritate me.

Partner (Pardner) - coined by Brent Musberger and still frequently heard by lazy commentators in the broadcast booth.
