Another Braun gut punch

I saw the commit, didn't know if they were related or not. That sucks. Anyone have info on if he gave us a serious look or not? Sour on us for any particular reason?
 
Why waste a 33 ACT going to that institution of lower learning.

I assume there is some sour taste at GT, I assume this commitment has some middle finger aspect.

Not sure what happened with Parker, but it looks like the Brauns are no longer fans of the Institute.
 
That’s too bad. I wonder what he’ll think about that decision 20 years from now.

Eh. Y'all are making too big a deal of this.

The new staff is trying to build something special here and if a player's heart ain't in it, then let's move on. Parker and his dad both said in 2016 that the run-first offense was a big part of what he wanted to do, so it shouldn't shock us that he transferred to avoid a new shotgun offense. I never like UGA getting their targets of course, but did we even give this kid an offer? I didn't know he existed until this thread.

I agree with you, Tate Johnson, think we really wanted him. Need to let cbc build his relationships at gt, believe he will do just that.

yeah, because UTx runs everything from under center smh. UTx is running what we are running. Its almost the same offense. Both will be around 60/40 run pass. Both are based out of the shotgun. And both will rely heavily on inside and outside zone.

the braun decision is his, but all the reasons don't add up. I don't care its just one player. No biggy. Its not like even when he was here we did much anyway.
