COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M has grown starry-eyed for the Southeastern Conference, an Aggies insider said Sunday, and A&M considers its overall athletic endeavors grander than the death of a conference rivalry game on Thanksgiving.

Hopefully by the end of this week, we will know (officially) what's going to happen to all of Big 12 and then dive into more expansion rumors.

I now think that the only way that expansion hits the ACC is if the Big Ten somehow forces our hand. The SEC seems content to move west into new territory, and loath to add in states where a presence is already established. We may emerge unscathed.
