another tuff day for the Johnson BACKERS...

Not sure what’s going to change next year either. Going to be same team with same results

Im not a CPJ hater. Though, days like these make me question his offense on its own merits. We get shut down too easily. But never mind that - It certainly appears it has affected our defense abilities to play a passing team. The defensive did an admirable job in this one though.
Im afraid that, with the lack of fundamentals like ball carrying security being drilled in these guys heads, the lack of our defenses to prepare for decent passing teams and the weakness that allows opposing players to get 3-5 yards after being gang tackled.....
For these reasons Paul, we had to chop you.

The D played well. It got burned a few times, but two of those scores were on short fields.

Ball security was terrible again. Pretty much a constant for the past 5 years.

TM was clearly pressing and ööööting up the 3O by running too far from the line. Sit him a series and work it out.

I haven’t seen a single series where Oliver looked worse than Marshall.

The second 6 games are considerably better teams than the first six. Literally at every game, with the possible exception of Clemson/UGA.

Down 3 TDs in the 4Q and we have to run the ball. And the first pass attempt is an 8 yard curl. Time is ticking off the clock and we throw a pass that doesn’t even get us a first down if completed. This offense was supposed to be one of Paul’s more talented ones but it’s clear that they’re not and they’re poorly coached.
