Another un-employed Dawg,

Former University of Georgia Quarterback David Greene has suffered another setback in his NFL career.

The New England Patriots cut the former Georgia QB Tuesday from its practice squad, to make room for former Atlanta Falcons TD Jason Rader.

Greene was signed to the Patriots' practice squad on September 19, after being released by the Seattle Seahawks on September 2.

The Seahawks drafted Greene in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-3-inch, 225-pound quarterback has not played in an NFL game and served as the Seahawks’ third quarterback for 28 of 32 games from 2005-06.

It would have been nice to have a winner like that on our side. Unfortunately for him, the writing is on the wall. I wonder if he can read it.

"read"?

A quote from the TV show Cheers:
Diane ask Coach why they called him "Red", his reply was that he "read" a book once.
