A TRUE STUDENT-ATHLETE...He's got skills!
Impressive to say the least...Do we stand a chance of landing this recruit since he is a WR...He's got the brains to cut it academically & I am confident we could find him a place on the field if not at WR somewhere....just curious the Scout.com article on him is singing his praises....so I thought I would just copy & paste his high school acadmic and athletic accomplishments.... (link:http://recruiting.scout.com/2/759617.html)

These days you have to be a sex offender to get your teaching credentials for UGAy.

:wow:

The weird thing is that, based on his credentials, I think he would be a pretty good fit at Tech. From that list I would have to say we have the best mix of top-notch academics and a competitive football team. The only negative I think is that he is a WR.

We're not on his "schools of interest" list on Scout, but that's likely because they couldn't fit enough "schools of interest" in the webpage format.

If we assume he's going to go somewhere academic, as his academic accolades would lead you to believe, his offer list shrinks to look something like this:

North Carolina, Rutgers, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, Boston College, Duke, Wake Forest, Purdue, Northwestern

If he wants to stay regional, then it shrinks further:

North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Duke, Wake Forest,

...and we're probably the best 'team' of those, and right in his back yard, comparatively speaking.

So depending on what his goals, motivations, and priorities are, then he could end up here.
