Never been to Death Valley before but got tickets this year for the first time. What is the best way to get through that tough traffic and where is good to park? Anyone have some experience?

By the way, ESPN Classic has the 2000 GT-Clemson game on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. I know I'll be setting my VCR to see Kerry Watkins!!!!

Lookin forward to a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never been there but the only advice I will give you is to yell as hard as you can when our Yellow Jackets pulvarize the Kitties.

I'm positive there has to be a better way than I-85 to the clemmons exit, but I don't know it. Somebody recommended getting off at the state line and getting there thru Westminster.

Getting out has always been horrendous traffic wise.
Listening to clemmons post game radio after a loss to Tech is a real treat though. I really hope you enjoy the crawl back to 85. :fingersx:

Yeah, I read somewhere where Clemson was ranked as NCAA football's #1 hardest place to get out of traffic after the game. I hope we blow 'em out so their fans leave the game early and get out of the way!

If it takes any longer than Auburn took me last year, I just may still be driving home when the sun rises Sunday morning!

No good way to get out after the game.

I would encourage you to plan on hanging out a while. Two years ago cars were still waiting in line to get out of our parking lot until at least 2am. Having an RV is key for this game. It might be longer but quicker to head west and then come back down into Georgia but either way you'll be stuck getting off of campus for some time.

We'll be at the Y Beach which I think is where the majority of the Tech fans will be tailgating this year. It is a pretty good distance from the stadium but they will run buses back and forth. They pretty much pushed all non-IPTAY and season ticket holders a good ways from the stadium now anyway.

Going north on 85, you can take exit 1 and go left, which is hwy 11, and follow that all the way til you see hwy 123 on the right. you'll be on hwy 11 for about 10 miles or so. take 123 toward seneca and it'll take you to the campus. gettin out is a whole other ballgame. i've never gotten outta there in less than 2 hours.

As I heard it told one time, "All dirt roads lead to Clempson".
