Anyone have a link to a LSU message board?

I didn't have much luck over there in 2000. Not a very sporting bunch back then.

wow they are thinking we are going to win by 17...said we have three big wins and the rest are against powder puff teams. i guess they dont realize the acc is better than sec this year.

Don't waste your time, guys. While there are a good bit of them that are realistic about the game, the rest of them reinforce the SEC Idiot stereotype that insists they'll beat us because they have better athletes and our offense is one dimensional in that we cannot pass.

If we win, the same people will be doing nothing but using the Tech game as another reason they want X to resign or be fired and they won't give our guys any credit or admit they were wrong.

In their world, all that exists is LSU. Either LSU wins or LSU loses, but the other team never beats them.

Most of them haven't realized that indoor plumbing exists. I'm amazed they can use computers. Do they make "cajun-speak" text layout?

If someone would invent a "corndog bouquet" like those cookie bouquets you see you'd make a lot of money hawking them in front of the dome while they are in town.

they aren't very confident fans, although their prediction thread is pretty bold. For the most part they are respecting the 3O pretty good! :)

By the way, I think TigerDroppings is a terrible name for a message board.

Anyhoo, I see us being pretty cocky on this board relative to their deflation.

I think we should temper our enthusiasm a bit. If you think about it, Miss. St. was terrible. Our win over them was like beating Duke. ga didn't tackle - plain and simple. If they tackled, we wouldn't have won.

I'm not taking anything away from our season - we beat the teams we beat - no ifs ands or buts. However, it will be really embarrassing if we lose to LSU. Let's be prepared for anything.

My dad, who lives in New Orleans, was listening to LSU's radio station 870 AM the other night and apparently LSU fans want to get rid of Les Miles if he has another mediocre season next year. What is it with these SEC schools firing coaches who go through a lull for a while?

Also, my dad told me that LSU is having trouble getting their fans to buy all of their allotment of tickets because most of them aren't motivated by this game. People were calling into the radio saying that they were season ticket holders and go to all the games, but they aren't going to the CFA bowl because the team doesn't deserve it. I feel sorry for their players. They have some of the most unforgiving fans in college football.

Really? So if their safety didn't get juked to his ass he would've tackled Dwyer? And if their other safety didn't get cut to the ground he would've tackled Roddy? And if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his ass?

I guess, by the same logic, if we would've defended the pass better, we would've beat them by 30 points.

And let's not forget, if we would've had CG on the sideline, we'd be bitching about 8 straight losses.

The rain made it harder to cover and harder to tackle. Both teams benefited from the weather.

Yeah, but we controlled our destiny. We did not win because Ga had a bad day - we won because we went there to win and because we were the better team.

I had to listen to my family and friends cry about how Georgie would've beaten us if (1) they had the ball last, (2) they would've just tackled, or (3) the refs would've been fair. Nobody would admit that we were the better team.

TO HELL WITH GEORGIE!:FIREdevil:

If ifs and buts were candies and nuts, then we'd all have a merry Christmas.

Seriously, pretty much any team anywhere can say they would have a perfect season if they just executed and played perfectly every play. The TO, though, just punishes teams severely for making wrong reads or angles or missing tackles. It can still be a three yards and a cloud of dust if the defense executes to perfection, but the beauty is the big plays.

LSU fans and Georia Tech fans have one thing in common ....

Neither went to LSU. Most of them are posting from their trailers whilst stealing internet from the one guy in the park who sold enough meth to afford it that month.

The funny thing about their whole "you only won because you got lucky that you didn't have to give us the ball back" argument - apart from that it ignores the obvious that every game is 60 minutes and both teams come in knowing this - is that they conveniently ignore that we were just having the quarterback take the snap and keep the ball trying to wind down the clock. We were just a pitch to Roddy Jones away from taking it to the house again...in which case they would have gotten the ball back, but down by two scores again.
