Don't want to take away from BC. Wish I could make it, but can't.

Curious if anyone is heading to VT, and where are you staying?

I'm staying at the Quality Inn in Christiansburg, just off 81.

I'm going. How did you find a hotel? I cant seem to find one for less than $250 night. With gas, 2 nights, and beer it could be a $1000 trip.

Not going to making it up there this time, but advice from my trip 2 years ago. Stay in Winston Salem, make the trip very manageable with about 5 hours of driving each day instead of 8 or so each day, and super cheap. Oh, and eat at the Hokie house, big ugly purple building in downtime, but good beer, good fans, and pretty good burgers. (obviously this approach only works well if you have someone to sober up during the game :))

I'm heading up. We're staying in the Super 8 in Dublin, which is about half an hour out of Blacksburg. I wasn't about to thrown 200 bucks for a crappy hotel near campus.

I just kept on checking online. I've stayed at this Quality Inn before. It's nothing special, but works fine for me. Room was $159. It's about 8 miles off campus.

$200 bucks for a room in Blacksburg?

That entire town isn't worth $200 bucks.

I'm still traumatized from the hell-on-earth that was the lightening game but I'd love to go down there and see us take those turkeys to the woodshed.
