Last time we went to the Omni checkin was a huge cluster and our room was not ready until after 6. I was pretty pissed off.

yes--this is correct--it was on the taxslayer twitter page. The SEC hotel is on there too, just don't recall what it was.

Good call. Just booked a multi-bedroom condo at Villas of Amelia Island Plantation. (Should be part of the resort where the team is staying.) Rates look to be competitive, if you are booking multiple hotel rooms and/or have a larger group.
