Looks like GT lost those victories over 2 top 10 opponents (I couldn't resist that one). Seriously, GT did defeat 3 top 25 teams, and that's good.
But, as has been covered, inconsistency in losing to the NC State's and Utah's of the world prevented GT from a rare opportunity to have a 9 win season, 10 if you view the UGA outcome as the wasted opportunity that it was.
